Bio: I'm a 40 something 'girl' finally enjoying life and aiming to make the most of what it has to offer. Having suffered from depression for years, I have finally been helped to see the light. I'm not happy clappy, I'm very down to earth and want to use this blog to share what I have learnt and what I have experienced. As a bonus, I am also a very keen amateur baker, so you may find yourself learning how to bake as well x

  1. Ellie – I have a favour to ask: I think I’d like to take you up on your offer to help out with my “overwhelming tasks”, but as I can’t send you a plane ticket, I was wondering whether it would be OK for me to email you my ideas about what I’ll do at the start of the week, and then email you what I have done at the end? You wouldn’t have to do anything; I guess you wouldn’t even have to read the emails πŸ™‚ I wouldn’t know! I think it would really help me shift some of those obstacles. Feel free to say “no”, though – you didn’t offer to do this for me! – and you’ve got enough going on elsewhere in your life. Anyway, my email address is dysthymia.bree@gmail.com Perhaps you could drop me a line if you think this would be OK. Otherwise … we shall never speak of this again πŸ™‚

    1. Oh my goodness. Of course I don’t mind. I’m very touched that you’ve asked and more than happy to lend a bit of motivation. A quick confession..my name is Kirsty πŸ™‚ I’ll explain the user name by e-mail. I’ll send email later this evening.

    1. Hi there – sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thanks you so much. I really appreciate and am very touched that you enjoy my blog. It’s nice to know I am able to write in such a way. By the way, how are you doing?
